Picture

I've changed the cover picture to the Color Image from chapter 442. This is the actual picture of Nagato, not Pain. The old pic should either be used on the God Realm section or on Yahiko's page. If somebody want's to change it, please just change it to a higher quality scan and not just the old God Realm pic, please. --NurXang (talk) 20:41, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Here's where I am coming from. Pain and Nagato are the same people. No matter how you look at it, they are the same person. The image of the Deva Path is the first image we have of Pain. Similar to how we use the pictures of 12 year old Naruto instead of 15-16 year old Naruto. The picture of the Deva Path can't be used in Yahiko's page because that is not Yahiko, as he is dead.--TheUltimate3 (talk) 20:59, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

I understand what you are saying, but Pain and Nagato are not the same thing. Pain (or the 6 paths) is a technique used by Nagato. If the page was still focused on Pain then i would agree with you, but it is now titled the Nagato page. This is the best manga image we have of Nagato's body, not God Realm Pain. --NurXang (talk) 21:38, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Response to the First Thing. Not sure why I missed it; But they are the same thing. That's why the Paths were so different and unusual. Nagato was the Six Paths. As such he first appeared as the Deva Path. That's why it was being used. In truth the page MUST focus on Pain moreso than Nagato because if you don't, Nagato has done NOTHING but stand in a tree and cough up blood.

It was protected with the old image because our policy is to use the older version of things when protecting things against revert wars. As a matter of fact, i really don't care at this point. because it turns out that this whole wiki operates much differently than i read when i signed up. But they are him, Pain and Nagato are the same person. And for the readers the first body he uses is most relevant since that's the first image anyone watching the series will encounter.

As for your comments on the banhammer, that has absolutely no relevance. No-one has threatened to ban you and that's not the reason we have sysop flags, sysops work for the community, they don't control it. I may have actually waved it. I honestly do not remember, but I do wave it threateningly to keep some members in line. From where I stand, it goes like this. 2 Camps. Good Members and Problem Members. Good Members get the banhammer speech when revert wars start (be it adding something unnecessary and it gets reverted, or unneeded), then you have the Problem Members, who get banned out right. Jutsu Selectivity

I feel as though the time has come to revamp what goes into the Jutsu list for Nagato. I feel like we should remove the jutsu that Nagato's path's perform, and only stick with the techniques that Nagato's real body has actually done. We've already classified the Six Paths as a jutsu in it's own right, so at this point we're just clogging the infobox with incorrect information. For the record, i'm one of the guys that's advocating a sepearate page for the six paths, which would simplify things to a greater degree.--Newthx2u (talk) 21:42, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Second I disagree with removing the jutsu that the paths of Pain use. Those bodies are under Nagato's control, being dead they have no free will of their own. For any of those bodies to use one of the jutsu they have been shown using he, Nagato, would technically have to know how it's done to preform them, thus having to know the jutsu. What I do believe should be done is a way to highlight which jutsu Nagato, not one of his paths of Pain, has been shown using. ¥ Super Novice ↔ Talk ² Me ¥ 21:51, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

As of now there are only two jutsu Nagato has actually performed with his own body: Wind Release: Violent Wind Palm, and Six Paths of Pain. Seems to me like we could just separate them from the rest of the list, and your highlighting idea works well too. Unfortunately the damn thing's still locked after NurXang was exiled, so we'll just have to wait, i guess. --Newthx2u (talk) 02:44, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
