Manga v anime .... again

I know that i am stuborn piece of sh*t but i see virtually no difference between the two version asside from toning of the color. So i edited it to be similar to the articles about Jiraiya and Deidara, where the colored manga image is featured in the appearance section and the infobox solely use the anime image instead of the dual images with different sizes that i still find a horrible solution. --Gojita (talk) 14:58, November 10, 2011 (UTC)Gojita

Look hur… there is no "manga vs anime" again, it took forever to sort out the first war that was waged. SimAnt created a feature where both sides can coexist… so coexist. Believe me, the people that want the manga image in the infobox we'll find a fault with every single part of the anime image no matter how small. So that's why I said let it alone.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 15:01, November 10, 2011 (UTC)
I CAN'T!!! Because your reasoning implies that this must be done to all the characters who have a colored manga image available while this was made due to obvious differences, such as a A's hair color or the unique facial shape of characters such as Onoki and Shisui, but in this case, THERE IS NO VISUAL DIFFERENCE so please allow me to revert it like that until someone makes a reasonable argument about a difference asside from OVERALL TONE of the colors.
Beside, you know verry well that we ussually is just ShounenSuki(sorry for pointing names) who is stuborn enough to note the small diferences and then the rest of you ussually just follows, or at least that is my impression about the last couple of discussions I participated in. --Gojita (talk) 15:09, November 10, 2011 (UTC)Gojita

If I were that idle I would put a coloured manga image for every character that has one, but that is for my own reasons of wanting more of Kishimoto's personal work on here… With regards to Mei and the image that is there now, one reason that pops out is the fact that her hair is misrepresented. The anime image gives the impression that she doesn't have a topknot (and don't bother looking for a different one, we went through that already). It's the same thing with Chōjūrō, Ao and Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi. When the feature was created it was decided that we'd keep the manga images for those people, I don't see why you want to come back and cause unnecessary problems.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 15:15, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

I have always been and am still of the opinion that we should show how characters look in all incarnations of the series. The tab feature in the infobox gives us the perfect opportunity to do just that. We simply have no reason not to use both images.
In this case, though, the current anime image really isn't all too good for reasons already stated above. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 15:22, November 10, 2011 (UTC)
On a short note, the hair top is easily dealt with, by adding the full appearance image below, which is how it appears to be done right now. On another quick note. I also find that the manga image of Mei is done in a horrible angle and it looks terrible in the infobox when she is viewed from the side like that --Gojita (talk) 15:25, November 10, 2011 (UTC)Gojita
I agree with you. --Ilnarutoanime 15:31, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

Well I can't fault your attempt to discredit the manga image. You have to try really hard with stuff like that, still, you have a ways to go kozo. Presently it isn't even about the differences in appearance, it's more about simply honouring the creator of the series' work. That's why ¾ of the articles that do not require it, still have manga images in them.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 16:06, November 10, 2011 (UTC)

Please refrain from insulting us! --Gojita (talk) 16:24, November 10, 2011 (UTC)Gojita
You're thinking too far, Cerez365, and what's the big matter to insult? --Ilnarutoanime
Wait, who is insulting who?
Any way, as I said before, I agree with Cerez365. Why would we not show the manga image together with the anime image? Putting both in the infobox is a great way to add both without cluttering up the page. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:36, November 10, 2011 (UTC)
