This shinobi was a Takigakure shinobi that Jiraiya encountered during his journey to find his disciple. He was later killed and his corpse used by Nagato to channel the power of the Human Path in his Six Paths of Pain.

Personality Edit

In the anime, while alive, he was shown to have been a level-headed ninja who believed that all he could do to try and achieve peace was to teach the next generation to survive the battles with other ninja until it came.

Appearance Edit

He was a tall, slender man with long, pale-blue hair that parted at his shoulders, green eyes and a pale complexion. He wore a blue suit underneath a dark-blue Takigakure flak jacket and his village's forehead protector.

When his corpse was used as the Human Path, like all of the Six Paths, his long hair was dyed orange and had multiple piercings, including a diagonal bar through its nose, two circular studs in a vertical row on each of its cheeks, two studs placed horizontally on its chin, and a stud on each of its shoulders near its neck. The diagonal nose piercing makes it the only Pain with asymmetrical facial piercings. He also possessed Nagato's Rinnegan.

Abilities Edit

Absorption Soul Technique

The Human Path removing the soul of its victim.

During Pain's battle with Jiraiya, the Human Path's eyes were damaged and it was left unable to see. For this reason, it used only taijutsu during the battle, where it displayed incredible strength and speed. The Human Path was later shown to have the capability of mind reading simply by placing its hand over the target's head, and could extract any information or secret being hidden by the victim against their will. However, using the technique will inevitably pull the soul out of the target's body, causing instant death. It was also incredibly fast, able to move into the vicinity of several sensors before they could even detect him.

Part II Edit

Tale of Jiraiya the Gallant Edit

The Human Path was first summoned during Pain's fight with Jiraiya. It was quickly blinded, however, by a powerful kick from Jiraiya. It was later trapped in a bound by genjutsu and seemingly dispatched. When the other three of the Six Paths of Pain arrive, the Human Path is freed and all six attack Jiraiya which culminates in the latter's death.

Six-Tails Unleashed Edit

Main article: Six-Tails Unleashed

Pain's Assault Edit

Rasen Expansion

The Human Path caught in the Rasenshuriken.

The Human Path is later seen during the invasion orchestrated by Nagato. It is delegated the task of reconnaissance and when summoned into the village, begins extracting information from the villagers with its ability. It later teams up with the Animal Path and infiltrates the Konohagakure Intelligence Division where it follows a group of shinobi that escape from the division. Ambushing them, it is able to extract information from Shizune on the whereabouts of Naruto Uzumaki, killing her in the process. Later when Naruto returns to the village, the Human Path is destroyed by his Wind Release: Rasenshuriken which obliterates it completely after it is sacrificed to save the Animal Path.
