Hero's Come Back!!, performed by Nobodyknows+, was the first opening for Naruto: Shippūden. It played from episode 1 to 30. The opening would later be replaced by Distance.

Trivia

Its title is a reference to Naruto returning to Konoha.
In order to promote Naruto: Shippūden the Movie, the broadcast versions of episodes 24 through 27 included scenes from the movie in both the opening and ending themes, while still retaining the original music.
In the anime, after Sasori's face was revealed, in the opening's fourth version Sasori's real body puppet appears instead of his Hiruko puppet.

-Two and a half years later, a Naruto more matured in many ways is seen walking somewhere when [[Iruka]], [[Sakura]], [[Gaara]], and [[Sasuke]] are shown. Naruto then grins and sprints off while some of his allies are are shown. [[Kakashi]] activates his [[Sharingan]], Sakura hits the screen, and Naruto forms the shadow-clone hand-sign, and the new [[Naruto: Shippūden]] logo is presented. Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi are seen running. [[Team Guy]] with [[Kankuro]], [[Temari]] and Naruto show some of their skills before Naruto counts 3,2,1 and makes a thumps down sign. More of his allies and enemies are shown.
