Madara dissuades Hashirama by telling him that his dream has no connection to the village. With this, Madara had abandoned the [[Hidden Leaf Village]]. However, as time passed, other [[clans]] have also imitated the village system thus creating and refining the [[Five Great Shinobi Countries|Five Great Nations]]. Madara, trying to realize his dream, had set his sights on destroying the village he and Hashirama had fulfilled. With the continuation of the battle, Hashirama's [[Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands|gigantic wooden construct]] [[Super Beast Emanation Buddha|lunges its hands]] at the [[Susanoo]]-clad [[Kurama|tailed beast]] causing it to lose its armor. Using the opportunity, Hashirama grabs the Nine-Tailed Fox and [[Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique - Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands|stops its rampage]] leaving the two shinobi to continue the fight.
