It is located in the underground section of the [[Mountains' Graveyard]]. It was grown using the [[Demonic Statue of the Outer Path]]'s power as a [[Wikipedia:Catalysis|catalyst]].<ref>''Naruto'' chapter 606, page 14</ref> == Appearance == [[File:Madara's lair.png|thumb|left|Hashirama's living clone creating artificial humans.]] Growing out of a giant tree's trunk is the clone which naturally bears strong resemblance to Hashirama. Eight<!-- there are two hands which you can just barely see the fingers --> hands are suspended around it. Spike-like protrusions also jut out from around and along the tree's stem/trunk. When Madara was still alive, the tree continuously sprouted [[White Zetsu Army]] clones from its "''branches''" which Madara used to carry out his bidding.
