Han is the jinchūriki of Kokuō — the Five-Tails. Not much is known about Han or his tailed beast, but in the anime, it was stated that he detested humanity because they shunned him due to being a jinchūriki. Han was eventually captured by Akatsuki and his tailed beast extracted, causing his death. However, during the events of the Fourth Shinobi World War, he was resurrected and made into a jinchūriki once again, yet the Eight-Tails remarked that his tailed beast felt "different".[1]
Version 2
Whilst resurrected, Han displayed the ability to enter a "Version 2" form, by moulding the Five-Tails' chakra into a human-like shape around himself. When entering into this form, the sudden increase in chakra was so great, that it instantly vaporised Killer B's ink clone, which had immobilised him at the time.
In addition to forming a dark chakra cloak around both his entire body and Steam Armour, he gained the characteristic horns of the Five-Tails atop of his still visible hat and a prominent hump on his back, due to the presence of the armour's furnace. However, despite the mask from this armour covering the lower portion of his face, a mouth is still created. With the power granted by this form, Han manifests all of his beast's five tails. In this form he is shown capable of creating chakra arms.[2]
Partial Transformation
After being resurrected, Han demonstrated the ability to manifest one of the beast's tails.[3]
Full Five-Tails Form
While fighting Naruto Uzumaki and Killer B, Tobi forcefully transformed the revived Han into his full Five-Tails form. In this form, he takes on the appearance of the Five-Tails itself, allowing him to manipulate the full extent of the beast's considerable powers, with which he was able to wound and repel even a fully transformed Killer B utilising the beast's horns.[4] Like most other jinchūriki who can transform into their tailed beasts, Han is also able to use the Tailed Beast Ball.[5]
