This large centipede summon has a number of body piercings and the Rinnegan, implying it is being controlled by Pain. It is summoned during Pain's attack on Konohagakure to wreak havoc on the village and cause confusion. It was killed by a single punch from Sakura Haruno.
In the anime, instead of one centipede summoned, three are summoned. One was still killed by Sakura and a second by Shikamaru Nara while protecting Kurenai Yūhi.
