He was a citizen of Kagerō Village, and the son of Gennō.
Background
Gennō and his son often went on scavenger hunts together. Thirty years prior to the start of the series, he died in a battle defending Kagerō Village. His father Gennō had warned him not to follow his example and become a ninja. When he died, Gennō blamed himself and decided to take revenge on Konohagakure. Gennō planted explosive tags all around the village, but he never detonated them because his village was destroyed.
Personality
According to Gennō, his son's personality was much like Naruto's.
Appearance
Gennō's son bore a striking resemblance to Naruto Uzumaki, but his hair was smooth and long, and he wore a white t-shirt under a black vest jacket. He had blonde hair.
Legacy
When Gennō came back to Konoha thirty years later to finish what he had started. Naruto's attitude, dreams, and good heart reminded Gennō of his son and he gave up his plan of destroying the village, instead using them for one big scavenger hunt.
