| + | In some point it is revealed that Gantetsu though he was saving the orphans he still knew that losing their parents was someting awful and decided to pu a stop to the ninja dropouts,so he stole the treasure trhey had stolen together and then he was let to be caught so that his comarades in order to learn where the tresure was would come to 'rescue' him. He hoped that by doing so his fromer comorades would get caught and that would be the end of the ninja dropouts. |

Gantetsu (丸鉄) is a former Shinobazu, or criminal ninja.
Background
While he was a member of the group he began to feel guilty for what he was doing, and saved the children from the houses they razed, hiding them in the Forest of Bewilderment with some of the money that he had stolen. Despite this, he knows that he can never completely atone for his crimes.
