:::We aren't...this is just a farce :3 . A poll would be good of sorts but I think the answer'll be pretty obvious on that one. Either one if fine for me since I can go either way and we can always fix the ones that other editors overlook.--[[User:Cerez365|Cerez☺]] ([[User talk:Cerez365|talk]]) 20:41, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Because this was another sweeping change that ShounenSuki made without first discussing, I think this needs to be properly decided upon.

What spelling should this wiki use? British English or American English?

Please indicate preference below:

  • I would like to point out that, since there has been a wiki-wide "standard", there have been more edits solely dedicated to switching spelling than there ever were when people used whatever they were accustomed to. (eg. Someone switches to British, someone switches back to American, someone rolls back that edit.) To me, this either means that there are more readers that use American or that Americans are less open to alternative spellings. ~SnapperTo 20:22, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

I'm good either way. Although I write use British English natively but i made concessions without any problem. But seeing that others might have more of a problem with it so I vote for the one that gives less headache. --Cerez☺ (talk) 20:28, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

I thought we weren't a democracy >.< - But I think the UK spelling would be better to use. And just out of curiosity, is it possible for a survey to be set up, so we could know which version of English is more common? ~ Fmakck©TalkContributions ~ 20:32, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
I don't have a preference. I'm perfectly capable of writing with either variation, and my spellchecker can save the ones I miss. I just ask that whichever English we choose, that we stick with it. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:37, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
