If You look at Sasuke's Sharingan in comparison to the rest of the clans, his is upside down. I have no clue why his is upside down. Kakashi's sharigan was upside down at the beginning of the series as well, but for some reason Kakashi's sharingan was put the right way mid-way through part 1.

Even though Kakashi's sharingan was turned the right way, Sasukes sharingan remained upside down.—This unsigned comment was made by DarklingNinja (talkcontribs) .

I do not get what you mean... Do mean the Tomoe were in a different position?—This unsigned comment was made by Qyp (talkcontribs) .

Yes the Tomoe, if you look at the tomoe on the rest of the Uchiha clans sharigan and compare it to sasuke's, you can see that his sharingan's tomoe is upside down. —This unsigned comment was made by DarklingNinja (talkcontribs) .

Ok. I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Sasuke's Sharingan tomoe are all in the same direction as every other Sharingan-wielding member of the clan.-_Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 15:39, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

No it is not

Compare the Tomoe's in thier sharingans to Sasukes, use the picture you just posted to compare.—This unsigned comment was made by DarklingNinja (talkcontribs) .

Apparently I must be blind because they all look the same to me. Also, sign your posts with four tildes ~~~~. —Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 15:53, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

I think DarklingNinja is referring to the position of the tomoe rather than their direction, i.e. two above the pupil and one below, rather than the other way round displayed by the others. Even so, as far as I'm aware, there is absolutely no significance in the tomoe's positioning whatsoever. Blackstar1 (talk) 15:58, February 5, 2012 (UTC)
...I hoped my hardest that it wasn't that he was referring to. This is now almost as bad as saying the Rinnegan has a set number of rings around it.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 16:37, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

I don't know if it matters, but when Kakashi fought Zabuza, the tomoes in Kakashi's eye started to circle around his pupil. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 18:46, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

That’s exactly what I was referring to Cerez, I am surprised it took you so long to notice. But good job =) I understand that some people like yourself have vision issues and comprehension problems and I thank you for working so hard to understand what I am saying. Also, thank you for reminding me about the signature, you’re a very nice guy.

I agree with you black star, I do not think it is anything significant aswell. It is just something that makes sasukes sharingan unique. If you look in the past some people’s sharingan was also the saw way sasuke’s is, but theirs were corrected at one point in the series while sasuke's remained unchanged. DarklingNinja (talk) 20:13, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

I believe that the reason Sasukes Sharingan is different, is a purposeful artistic choice to make Sasuke's sharingan unique due to his significant role in the story. It is nothing more then that, but it is definitely purposeful. DarklingNinja (talk) 20:23, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Most images show his left Sharingan, and it's strangely that one that has the design inverted for Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. I was wondering if the left one is the same, or that it's actually the same as the others (1 tomoe on the top and two on the bottom)? If the latter were the case, a few people may assume that that was the reason for the inverted shape... just saying.Lokker G (talk) 01:12, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

So... I went on search of anything that would confirm this, which led me to:

  • The fight between Itach and Sasuke- Itachi's Sharingan looks the same as Sasuke's with the same position of the tomoe.

Assuming that the "it's a sibling thing" might come up, I went and looked for Yashiro, Tekka and Inabi. Conclusions:

  • The Sharingan tomoe either move or Kishimoto pays absolutely no attention to the positions of said tomoe.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 01:25, February 6, 2012 (UTC)
