There is some guy that is ruining pages of narutopedia replacing it with "lol", "DBZ rules" and "ninjas suck" can you guys please fix this? Here's his IP adress 77.97.37.135

I've already asked Jacce to permaban all the IP's who've massively vandalised this wiki. Now you see why the wiki should be set up to be edited only by registered users ? Such a measure would stop this kind of vandalism. --Speysider (Talk Page) 16:10, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

True, but if someone wanted to vandalise the wiki, I doubt they'd go to the trouble of making an account. Vandals simply want to find the wiki and not waste any time destroying the pages, so they won't really make an account. Having never seen the registration system for ages on here, I assume there are anti-spam measures in place to stop these users. --Speysider (Talk Page) 16:14, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

Probably someone from a DBZ wiki trying to trigger a war between Naruto and One Piece wikis. A few months ago, there were a users from DBZ wikis that came here vandalising, claiming to be from One Piece wiki. They were logged in their accounts, so I could check their usernames, and see in which other wikis they were active. They were only trolls from DBZ wikis trying to put Naruto and One Piece against each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same in the One Piece wiki claiming to be from this wiki. Don't really think that would make any difference, those users were from about four of five different dbz wikis, and most of them, if not all, were pretty much abandoned fanon/rpg wikis, kinda like those that no one actually runs. One thing I did though, was to alert a sysop from the OP wiki in case someone goes vandalise them claiming to be one of us. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:27, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

Even if they ignored us, I think complaining over at Community Central isn't going to help, it might start some commotion, what with the DB wiki and Bleach Wiki incident, many users started to join in. Volumes Page Clean Up

Also what about the Volumes page? Volume 58 Naruto Vs Itachi is listed like eight times and has been for months. Was wondering if someone could fix that? —This unsigned comment was made by 24.127.127.61 (talk • contribs) .

I'm sorry, I don't really know how wiki programming works, but unless there's already a backup system in place for pages, maybe you should consider backing up pages (particularly the main pages e.g. Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, etc.) into a Microsoft Works document, or something. Rollback !== undo. Undo means that you undo only the latest revision: rollback allows you to go back multiple revisions. Apparently Dantman can give that privilege but he is never at this wiki so it is unknown whom you are supposed to go to for getting rollback permissions. --Speysider (Talk Page) 17:05, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, IMO there are so many deserving users to be a rollback user. Yeah, the only most active rollback user is only Deva27. The wiki needs to remove inactive rollback users and add those who are quite active.

I know that, but still I want to have my rollback rights because I want to help the wiki better. IMO Speysider wants to have that power same as my reasons.

IndxcvNovelist is quite right for the reasons why I want Rollback. The admins aren't here 24/7 and there have been times when the wiki has been mass-vandalised and there haven't been any admins to stop it. Hence, the reason why we need Rollback. --Speysider (Talk Page) 10:57, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, right! We're more active than admins. A mass vandalism happened to me one time when I faced the vandal alone. Sometimes vandals create consecutive edits we can't just undo.
