What about this? Putting a character's Part I appearance (if they were in the first part first) and Part II appearance in the infobox? Now bring on a stupid reason why this isn't possible. --OmegaRasengan (talk) 04:47, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

TheUltimate3 prefers just their original images. Keeps everything...simple. Especially because we have that little habit of having manga images when there is a discrepancy between manga and anime portrayals. Wait, can I voice out my opinion? This is a good idea, but the problem is the infoboxes with 'anime' and 'manga' images. ~IndxcvNovelist ^{(talk | contribs | PR | RLS)} 08:36, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

The issue comes in because, technically, all anime images are wrong in their portrayals and it is our task to show things correctly. We use anime images at all because they are nicer and usually pulling manga images out of the woodwork tends to be sketchy. Anyway, back to the issue of correctness, while what I said was true, technically if the discrepancy is minor enough, the issue slides and anime picture alone goes up. If it is not however, then we have dual pictures in the infobox of anime and manga.

Now I am completely biased on this issue, as every time we've had this discussion, I was in favor of pushing manga images out. Hell the reason we even having the tabs in infoboxes was to quell this discussion from coming up again.--TheUltimate3 ^(talk) 14:23, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
