From what I can tell, we're supposed to use the stuff there to make a parent-readable/friendly page presenting the subject of the wiki, something they can use to make an informed decision regarding their children watching/playing/reading whatever the topic of a wiki is about. Not to mention, according to the linked blog post, the reason Wikia is even doing this in the first place is because you have (and this time, they're right) a lot of websites out there that misconstrue what is being presented by a particular game/series/movie/etc., to fit an agenda. You won't believe the number of people I meet that say Naruto is a satanic series because the tailed beasts being sealed within humans is similar to the traditional view of demonic possession (which is psychotic because the Western portrayal of "demon" and the Eastern portrayal of "demon" are very, very, very different). So, for once, I actually see the practicality of this.

I might add that a good majority of these people reach those conclusions by Googling, as you said, Ultimate, and read some psychotic person's blog about said series and immediately form an extremely biased opinion without knowing what is actually going on in said subject for themselves. This is not to say that, by using this new function, we're trying to make our series "look good", per say. But considering most of us spend a good majority of our time immersed in the subject of Naruto (otherwise, why would we edit here?), we would be more trustworthy in terms of being able to provide the actual content of the series, over some internet blogger with an ignorant, and most of the time, completely wrong idea of the going-ons in Naruto. ~ Ten Tailed Fox 03:59, September 19, 2013 (UTC)

The main thing is to make sure parents have a reliable source to decide what their kids have access to. The Game of Thrones Wiki, for example, is already planning to use this page to warn parents against letting younger children watch it. I actually find this to be very responsible of Wikia. Sure, I wouldn't think that Naruto is a show that could potentially be harmful for younger kids to watch, but it does have some mature content in it, and we, being the experts on the series would know how best to advise parents (through this page) what kind of content that is. ~ Ten Tailed Fox 04:45, September 19, 2013 (UTC)

Hello! We're glad to see that you are interested in setting up the Parent Filter page for Naruto Wikia. I know it's a little bit confusing since Naruto covers games, movies, manga, and more, but I am hoping to get the page started with some information and would very much appreciate your input in building a more comprehensive page since, like Ten Tailed Fox mentioned, Naruto Wikia users are "more trustworthy in terms of being able to provide the actual content of the series, over some internet blogger"!
