There's a new special template in place. It's designed to work on multiple wiki in the project but it's a little tricky to explain how everything is done.

But here's what you need to know:

  • The template is Episodenav
  • The default tech page (One which in parserfunctions syntax holds a list of all the names and info of episodes) is found normally with {{BASEPAGENAME}}/Tech/Info/Episodes because on the Animepedia each series has a /Tech subarea where /Info holds info and the final subpage /Episodes is that techpage which holds the episodes info. This all works because the Animepedia uses a subpage structure. We don't; So because of that we need to override that. the tech value notifies what page holds that info, for us that is Tech/Info/Episodes.
  • By default, a base is used on the Animepedia because all the episodes are subpages of the anime's page, but here all episodes are placed in their own page with no parents. So we need to set base to empty so that there is no base before the links.

In the end, after all that explanation, all you really need to know is this is the code you place at the bottom of an episode article (A line Below the content, and a line above the Categories)

Please note that if you remove the : from tech it will break and try and use a template. And if you remove base= then it'll start using a basepage.

And of course # is the episode number of the current episode. Don't bother doing this for the Shippuden episodes right now. I'm probably going to tweak things to use 2 different pages for the different series. And don't put any 0's in front of that number. ~Dantman(talk) current discussion Apr 14, 2007 @ 23:37 (UTC)
