I think that, to remain unbiased, it would be best to put a .gif for the Mangekyo Sharingan page for the picture.

What im saying is, why are we just using Itachi's? I just think it is a little bit misleading, and that as the Mangekyo is unique to the user it should be a .gif of the known combinations. Regards! - —This unsigned comment was made by Deagonx (talk • contribs) .

We don't do .gifs on this wiki though. We use Itachi's because it was the first seen in the series, the rest are displayed in the gallery.--Cerez₃₆₅™

From the Image Policy: "Never upload .gif images, and don't bother converting a .gif into another file format before uploading. We do not need animations, and the .gif format does not handle quality properly. It has a limited color depth, and as a result the moment you save an image with the .gif format it loses a large amount of quality. We also prefer .png images over .jpg images because .jpg images slowly lose quality each time you save them. Neither of these types of quality loss can be recovered without the original image."--Cerez₃₆₅™

Im going to try my best not to come off as disrespectful, that is not what I want to convey. But I used the search bar and searched ".gif" and found multiple pages that use .gifs...

I highly doubt that you found .gif on Narutopedia but please post a source. Also please sign your posts with four ~~~~.--Cerez₃₆₅™

If you type into the search bar .gif you'll see plenty.. for example:

Oh~ you mean a slideshow in the infobox. I don't really think that's necessary since there's the gallery of eyes down the bottom. It's not being biased when all the information is represented in the article.--Cerez₃₆₅™

Well, Im not saying its a big deal but I wouldnt want people to get the wrong idea of what the Mangekyo looks like. Especially for users who CBB to read the entire article, the changing eye might peak their interest.—This unsigned comment was made by Deagonx (talk • contribs) .

How would they get the wrong idea when the eye that is there is a depiction of the Mangekyō Sharingan. I'm sure people don't all think when they look at the Transformation Technique that you can only turn into Iruka. Also, if there are people that can't be bothered to read the entire article, that's there problem not ours. If the images are placed in the infobox then there'll be the issue of "not seeing it" because of the transition time or whatever.--Cerez₃₆₅™ 16:26, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

it would look kinda bad if we put all the mongekyous on there so use a gif or just stay with itachis and im pretty sure you can use gifs i saw one on the page that had naruto summoning his shadow clone to release it for more nature energy.—This unsigned comment was made by Cody Buckley (talk • contribs) .
