::Really don't like that idea. JS should not be necessary to shrink the side of a large page. To be honest I think that large character story involvement sections are a good candidate for other pages. It's the kind of content that some readers don't want to read at all, and other readers come to the page just to read through it, which lends itself very well to cutting it out for users that don't want it, and dedicating a page to it when someone wants to read it. ~<span style="font-weight: bold;" title="Dantman does not work for Wikia">NOTASTAFF</span> [[User:Dantman|Daniel Friesen]]<small> (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire)</small> ([[User talk:Dantman|talk]]) <small>Oct 3, 2010 @ 15:06 (UTC)</small> 15:06, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

Some of our primary character articles are fairly long. Generally readers don't read through long articles, they're more likely to read through separate shorter articles. It also makes navigation a bit of an issue, large scrolling just to get to a specific bit of information, Trivia is so far down people probably don't bother to look for it, and the large number of sections makes the TOC so huge it is even more of a burden on the page than usual. Taking a look at Naruto Uzumaki the Part in Story sections take up over 1/2 of the entire page it seams. I think we might want to consider splitting the character involvement of some characters into their own articles. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Oct 3, 2010 @ 10:33 (UTC) 10:33, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

Um, splitting like http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Parent_Tab_Template? Horizontal TOC are always an option, with limited depth. SimAnt 14:51, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
