::Tenten's page has non-canon information, her entire background section comes from a filler episode if I'm remembering correctly, most of the filler arcs are linked and then have a summary of what she did in the arc, except for two of the more recent filler arcs, which are just linked. Hi um I need help. I am sort of new here and I like to edit Ino's page but everytime I do it people keep on deleting it. And I get some of these messages sent back to me: "she is not woth editing", "this again I told you she is not worth editing so I will tell you one more time stop editing Ino", and "not a special case". Some of those messages means that they are going to block me for editing it. I read the policies that they can't do that just b/c I'm editing someone's page and that they don't like her. So I was wondering if I could have your permission that I can edit Ino's page w/o anyone deleting it but can fix it if the info isn't sort of right. Please Thank You! We avoid making filler arc sections for canon characters, since 9 times out of 10, they're not that important during the arc, appearing here and there. This results in disjointed sentences that don't tell a story, so we simply create a section for the arc, and point the reader to the arc page in question. I believe that this should be throughly discussed and if agreed upon, added to the policy pages. — SimAnt 19:03, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

I don't think we should just blindly decide each by ourselves what is or isn't worthy to be mentioned. Shouldn't we list likely literary everything? That's a point of an encyclopedia, isn't it? Emitting information due to bias shouldn't be done.--Elveonora (talk) 19:10, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

But on the filler arcs I've made sentences that told a story. If I edited and you read and liked it may it remain there?Inoyamanaka98 (talk) 21:17, May 12, 2013 (UTC)Inoyamanaka98

So the question so far is: do we include completely non-canon information in canon users articles. The current practice of only if they are key players in the arc, or lack enough content on their page from canon appearances needs to clarified and put into policy one way or the other. — SimAnt 21:45, May 14, 2013 (UTC)

I don't think content should be excluded strictly on the grounds that the character doesn't do a lot. Characters like Ino don't do much in most canon arcs (i.e. Ino Yamanaka#Five Kage Summit Arc) so to exclude non-canon arcs in which she is merely present is a double-standard. That these non-canon summaries appear disjointed can also be said about the canon summaries. The solution is to write them better.
There can be exceptions: Naruto's article has enough size issues without non-canon summaries, so merely linking to the arc page is acceptable. But, again, characters like Ino don't have that problem. ~SnapperTo 22:43, May 14, 2013 (UTC)
