What are people's thoughts on the image tagging?

Up till now we've been using separate templates for tagging images with characters, and tagging them with jutsu.

What is everyone's thought on dumbing this down and just having a single {{Tags|<List, of, tags, on, image>}} template and display? ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) May 2, 2009 @ 10:31 (UTC)

The tags should be catagorized in some way in the list. Otherwise it could get very messy if there are a bunch of characters, techniques and whichever other tag in one image (Like on a game cover; Let's say Naruto uses some Rasengan technique in one corner while Sasuke counter attacks with some Chidori technique and in between there are a lot of characters with their special weapons (Shino with his bugs, Asuma with his knives) and techniques at the ready. Phew, sounds like a recipe for mess to me). Hakinu talk | Contributions 22:23, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Well for posters covers and the like I don't see to much point to tagging every single piece, for a game cover the only thing relevant to it is the game, it's not like we're going to use a game cover that Sasuke is on inside of Sasuke's article.
If absolutely necessary, the annotated list can actually be broken up using categories to split them (I think, heh). So for example if you tagged something with Naruto Uzumaki and Rasengan, then Naruto Uzumaki would show up under character because he's a character, and Rasengan would show up under Jutsu. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) May 2, 2009 @ 23:56 (UTC)
Ehehe. Yeah, I kind of realized that after tagging every single character for 99% of the game covers uploaded to the site.
Oh, that'd be great! Me like. Hakinu talk | Contributions|Contributions 12:25, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
