|Forums: Index → Help desk → How to use Special:Ask page instead of Special:browsedata?||Post|
I have been slightly annoyed at the broken list-link pages, but I finally found the help disk's previous reply- use 'special:ask' pages instead. I had tried, but now I don't know how to utilise this- I believe I am in need of help.
I have checked help link in the special:ask page, and it had been some help- but it seems I may lack understanding in finer details of usage.. ...I know I can find characters by [[Category:Characters]], but after that, I am stuck.
I attempted a few- only thing I can manage is making it categorised by the already given category of the articles. I am attempting to get list of kiri-nin for a pet project among my friends. I couldn't get the query to display pages only with [[Affiliation:Kirigakure]], and next I tried [[gender:male]].. I want to know if there is a better link to get better help, for getting the result I need- or what kind of commands I would require to get what I want.
Oh, you might want to note that [[Category:Ninjutsu]] or kenjutsu or genjutsu all don't work as well, because they are categorised only under 'jutsu', without any sub-categorisation. Basically, without the proper guide to use, your previous answer, 'use special:ask instead of use special:browsedata until it is fixed' doesn't really work. Can you at least give a short guide temporarily on the error page?—This unsigned comment was made by 18.104.22.168 (talk • contribs) .
special:ask is having it's own problems (it only excepts 3 loyaltys) but the searches you will want are these
|Loyalty||Gender||Debut anime||Debut manga|
