Earlier today, someone made a topic requesting that the page Fire Release: Wildfire Extermination be created. He provided the technique's appearance, chapter 577 page 4.

I remember telling that person "I don't know, kinda looks like Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation." And that we would have to check the raw for mistranslations.

Now I check back, and the topic seems to be gone. What's up with that? And does someone know if Fire Release: Wildfire Extermination is a technique of it's own? General Awesomo 05:00, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

It is not a technique of its own. The online scanlation of it, where you found the name "Wildfire Extermination" is incorrect. Our translators have already looked over it, and found its more accurate translation to be Great Annihilation.
