I was thinking about this for a while and decided to throw it into the group. Might it be a good ieda to completely split the game moves from their in-series equivalents? Perhaps even create a separate info box for them and all?

The games and the rest of the series work completely different, so it is only logical that they be treated differently as well. Instead of debuts, we could simply list the games the moves appeared in. Instead of explaining how the moves would wotk from an in-universe perspective, we could explain how they work from a game-mechanical perspective.

The same could be done with characters, of course. Instead of listing which games a character appeared in, we could simply link to that character's game page. I think it would clean up some of the clutter that exists right now.

How would this differ from what is currently being done? ~SnapperTo 18:45, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
It would create separate articles for, for example, Naruto in the series and Naruto in the games. The same for, for example, Rasengan and Chidori. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:58, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
An "In other media" section seems like it would fill that role without creating duplicate entries. ~SnapperTo 21:13, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
Separate articles would allow more in-depth information without cluttering the main articles. Right now, our information on game techniques is all but limited to saying they appeared in certain games and with the many games that are out, even this information can become quite extensive. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 22:05, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe I'm giving too little credit to how much is unique to video games. A full-fledged example would be nice. ~SnapperTo 02:34, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
