I know it's not usually our practice, but I want to suggest early volume creation when enough information is available. At the moment, Shueisha has already made available the release date, ISBN and page count. From the page count, we can determine which chapters are in it. All that would be left missing is the image, which has never stopped us from creating them before, and the title. The one potential problem is if creating the article under a generic title (let's say, "Volume 61") and then moving it to its proper name results in a bug like volume 58. I might have made a thread like this in the past, but I can't find it at the moment. What is everyone else's thoughts on this? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:43, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
Considering the bug, I would say NO. Not atleast till the staff does something about it. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/urbancowgurl777/UltimateSupreme2212-3.png(T@lk) 18:46, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
- The thing is, moving articles hasn't created duplicate entries like that. Looks like that might have been a one time only thing. For example, Madara's latest Fire Release technique was moved at least a couple times, but I don't see duplicate entries in the pages that show links to it due to SMW. That would be a risk. Btw you reported the bug, right? What did they say? http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/urbancowgurl777/UltimateSupreme2212-3.png(T@lk) 05:24, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
- I have. The answer I got was that the bug had been forwarded to the technical team in charge of making the changes Wikia does to the SMW. Wikia doesn't use the exact same SMW engine, they tweak some stuff in it so it lessens the load on their servers. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:31, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
Diplomatic answer as always. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/urbancowgurl777/UltimateSupreme2212-3.png(T@lk) 15:47, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
