since i cannot edit the "pain" speculation page i have decided to open a forum. it is a widely believed that the "Deva path of pain" is so important to pain for two reasons that are not listed.

1: that the deva path is actually the living body of yahiko, this is supported by the gact that nagato has never allowed him to sustain a fatal wound, after having his cloak blown off by naruto six tails it is seen that he hasn't recived any wounds what so ever un-like the animal path who was already badly damaged before jiraya was done with it. since the piercings are chakara recivers it is possible that yahiko cannot control himself and is being manipulated because he didn't want to follow nagatos path.

2: the second idea is that he protects it because it has the most powerful rinnengan, this is supported because his deva path was able to see the chakra around tsunades feet while the naraka path was un-able to see that konohmuru was using a shadow clone —This unsigned comment was made by Tech235 (talkcontribs) on 04:00, 16 March 2009 (UTC).

Widely believed? By whom? I never even heard of these arguments before. They don't even make much sense.
  1. All evidence suggests that all of Pain's bodies are corpses. Pain even specifically said that Yahiko is dead. Pain using Yahiko's living body as his main puppet, yet caring enough to try and keep him unharmed is illogical at best.
  2. There is nothing that suggests that Deva Realm's Rinnegan is in any way stronger than the other Realms' Rinnegan. Your argument holds no ground. Both the Sharingan and Byakugan] should be able to see chakra gathered around someone's feet, yet neither can distinguish Shadow Clonesfrom the original body.
