Now I know this has been talked about (at length) on one character's talk page but never in a general discussion. A slight issue is coming up in the way of describing female characters and their bodily development. More often that not, it's with regards to females with bigger breasts than other where it is said "large breasts/bust/bosom "and slender, yet curvaceous frame". I believe that before it gets out of hand we need to come to some middle-ground with regards to how detailed we get with describing the characters.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 14:01, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

You just took words from my mouth in this post.— UltimateSupreme ƒ(♫) 14:18 UTC, Tuesday, 13 November 2012

Well before X29 gets here with their fear of mammary glands going "....breast", "....breasts" (and I am mocking this person) I'm just gonna say the overkill of control on this wikia is ridiculous. I've been moding wikias for years, and I can proudly say, this wiki is the most overly contolled wikia I've ever seen

Let people write what they want and as long as it's clean and ture, let it go people. This isn't Bible Black but it sure ain't muppet babies here

I camn see why so many people on the fourms refuse to come here anymore --Shock Dragoon (talk) 14:33, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

I personally think describing a character's bust, waist, hips, whatever, since those are the notable "three sizes" for women is fine, especially in the case of people like Tsunade, whose chest has been documented repeatedly in the series. But when it comes to describing body type, things like "Slender, but curvacious" is a bit pointless. Saying a person has a lithe, stout, muscular, scrawny etc. body type is enough, isn't it? We don't have to describe every inch of them. Though honestly Lee comes to mind for someone with a confusing body type. One minute he's flat as a board, but when he went gates against Gaara you could suddenly see every muscle like the guy just went Super Saiyan. --Hawkeye2701 (talk) 16:53, November 13, 2012 (UTC)

Overkill? Shock Dragoon, I've never gone to any of the other "big three" wikias and seen any article describing a female character the way we do I don't care how many wikis you've "modded". Yes they speak of their breasts which is very hard to avoid because like it or no, it's a central part of some characters and this is manga where it's prevalent and nearly customary. But speaking about their narrow waist, slender yet curvaceous frames is ridiculously unnecessary and hypocritical- what's next their milky white skin and supple legs? Should we mention that one time where Fū was fighting we saw her vagina print out in her shorts? There are children here reading articles and conservative parents that can monitor everything they do online and while they can take on mention of breasts, the derision into near-perverted details isn't that easily overlooked. The characters that usually get those details are the ones that have big breasts, nobody comes here and says someone has small breasts or no shape or even talks about how male characters have rippling muscles or a smooth athletic body or anything like that so why should such details be made for bustier female characters? Basic mentioning of a person's build should be more than enough.

I'm really annoyed with your post Shock Dragoon. People that have stopped coming here is of 0 concern to us. Is the wikia suffering because of it? No. We're still one of the top wikias so just because you, and the rest of those people won't be allowed free reign to muck up the wikia and they leave, I say good riddance, we have enough trouble here to be getting on with. I bet they still come here to read articles though.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 09:42, November 14, 2012 (UTC)

Okay this is getting out of hand. I don't know if people are doing it just to taunt X29 or what, but the fact that X is going around taking out single words and lines on female characters' articles is ridiculous, in particular one line which aside from the word curvacious, wasn't doing any harm to the article, this **** has to stop. It's happened on 4 different articles in half an hour. I think until a resolution is reached, everyone just needs to chill and stop editing the female appearance sections. --Hawkeye2701 (talk) 06:42, November 15, 2012 (UTC)
