It seems to me, that the other genin shown in this OVA could be based on characters from other anime, probably other Shounen jump based ones and was wondering if anyone could help me confirm this. We have pictures of each of them on here and I'm trying to compile a list of sorts, so far it doesn't look hopeful, but still.
Suna Genin - Mystogan from Fairy Tail.
Iwa Kunoichi - Nao Midorikawa from Pretty Cure

Brunette Kumo Genin -
