I am wondering this because in Anime episode 130 at around three minutes, Sasuke claims he can tell which Naruto is the real one. This does not really make sense to me because Neji's Byakugan is not even able to tell which Naruto is the real one. I think the Byakugan would be better at that sort of thing. Is this just a mistake in the Anime or am I not understanding something? It seems logical that the Sharingan would be able to tell if a body is a normal clone such as towards the end of Anime episode 36. However, since the Byakugan is not able to tell if a body is a shadow clone I do not think the Sharingan can.—This unsigned comment was made by Cooolsduudes (talk • contribs) .
- The manga doesn't say anything about the Sharingan being able to tell the real person from Shadow clones, so the anime most likely made a mistake. Jacce | Talk 05:30, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
I think that the Sharingan can simply keep track of the real body, not that it can distinguish it at any given time. Seeing as the Sharingan gives color to chakra (as stated during Sasuke's battle with Deidara), it shouldn't be really hard. —This unsigned comment was made by Apex Predator (talk • contribs) .
I didn't see this episode (I don't watch the anime, only read the manga) but it's possible that either Sasuke was able to keep track, like Apex said above. Or, because something about how the Kage Bunshin works ensures that the clones are subordinate to the original, possibly Sasuke can tell who's following who's lead. Naruto can't send his clones orders telepathically or anything like that, so although they're very good at following through with any plans he made before cloning, they probably can't know plans that he'd devised after using the technique. I'm saying this in a really stupid way, but what I mean is that they must look to Naruto for signals. We have every reason to think that THEY at least know who the real Naruto is, after all. --Nordfjord (talk) 07:52, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Biakugan, helps hyuuga to see the chakra network and chacra points and to aim on them with gentle fist and 8 trigrams and 64 paws. On the other hand, sharingan, allows uchiha to see beyond a jutsu, to understand it, learn it, copy it and use it against the original justu user. Sharingan user see clones like chakra molds. remember, the arc with idate morino? on the boat, there team 7 had to protect idate morino from the water ninja? they used nice combination of clones and genjustu. - The problem is that Shadow clones are way more advanced. Byakugan sees regular clones the same way as Sharingan, but Shadow clones has actual substance. Jacce | Talk 05:11, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't think the Sharingan is able to tell which is the real body from the clones made from any element Bunshin jutsu except the original (bunshin no jutsu which creates illusionary copies) due to each clone make a physical copy complete with their own chakra network and all. The only thing the Sharingan can do is predict the attack patterns of the clones not see which is real or fake. Same goes for the Byakuugan where in the Chuunin exams, Neji was fooled to think the clone that stayed behind was the real Naruto.
