I know this will bring up a lot of speculation on and theories about what the current Manga just dropped on the readers, so I won't post anything that would give any suggestion to either. The potentially coincidental links between Kurama (the nine-tailed beast) and the original Ten-tails have been increased with the appearance of Naruto's new form. He now bears an even stronger resemblance to the Sage of Six Paths silhouette that we've already seen. We've already seen that the original Ten-tails form, is strongly shown in Kurama. I know that this will sound like fanonical speculation, but I want to be clear when I state that I do not want people to use anything I say out of context, alright? The one thing people may go crazy about, is the suggestion that the Sage could have placed a great deal of consideration to creating each of the tailed beasts' forms. We've seen that they each possess their own unique names, so it could be speculated that their forms could also have been deliberately chosen. If that were the case, there may have been a lot more care taken into creating Kurama's form, and that there's a potential connection between him and the Ten-tails. Again, I do not put any backing to these thoughts. What we will find out will either confirm what was said here, or, as I feel will likely happen, refute any validity to them.Lokker G (talk) 01:26, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Why not, here goes. The Ten Tails is shown in the anime to have one massive red eye. It had the same eye in the manga, but no colour was made clear. Kurama has red eyes and whilst being controlled those eyes manifested tomoe like those in the Ten tails' eye and Kurama's eyes are normally depicted as red. the tomoe, a more than likely reference given the symbolism connected between the Sage, the Beast and the Uchiha, but the colour being the same was likely not intentional as the manga has indicated no colour for the Ten Tails' eye.

Furthermore, in the Manga the Ten Tails was shown only in shadow, revealing a body vaguely like Kurama's along with tails that looked plain in design and a head structure that could either be ears or a pointed carapace like Chomei's. Regardless, this means any facial structure that didn't protrude out of the shadow, like a snout or anything like that, wouldn't be recognisable, so more than just its frame its entire face could look just like Kurama and we wouldn't know.

That aside, I personally think given the posture and the eye dead centre its more likely the Ten Tails is Humanoid like the Gedo Mazu as it seems to be seated in the Lotus position with its hands on its knees and have an eye dead centre, which if you recall, so does the statue, whose numerous eyes steadily open as it consumes the essence of all the Bijuu, not to mention the spiked protrusions from its neck and shoulders which likely make up the spikes of the Ten Tails silhouette. --Hawkeye2701 (talk) 23:19, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

I know this will bring up a lot of speculation on and theories about what the current Manga just dropped on the readers, so I won't post anything that would give any suggestion to either.
