In Dōjutsu page mangekyo sharingan and sharingan are given as two seperate Dōjutsu but as far as i know mangekyo sharingan is an advanced version of sharingan .so they should come under one heading and not two seperate ones.
Yeah,you are right Mangekyo Sharingan is the strongest version,with Mangekeyo Sharingan a character can use,Tsukuyomi,Amaterasu and Susanoo.But the reason they separate them is that Sharingan has think 4 forms:Sharingan with one tomoe,with two tomoe,with three tomoe and the last Mangekyo Sharingan.
