I've been a bit annoyed by the "deceased" annotations behind the names of family-members in the characters' infoboxes. I feel this information is unnecessary and cluttering and would best be removed. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 08:07, September 2, 2009 (UTC)

this is simple it would be more confusing if it was not there, yes if people wanted more detail they could look up the character but it makes the list clearer as it is, and as for the size not many characters have a huge list of family so it should be left as is Fawcettp (talk) 09:43, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I never had a problem with them, though I dont have a problem with them being removed either. /shrug as long as it is clear that somehwere in the infobox that this character died at some point in the series. Like add (Chap whatever/Ep whatever) somewhere.--TheUltimate3 (talk) 10:59, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
I've always hated those tags, even more than the fact that those lists are manual lists. Not only to arguments on a character's status pollute the history of the article, they pollute the history of the articles for each of the character's family members. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Sep 2, 2009 @ 17:22 (UTC)
So they can be removed? Just the annotations on the family members of the status annotation of the character itself as well? --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 22:45, September 2, 2009 (UTC)
Just the ones in the family section. We'll probably have another row for death in the new character infobox. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Sep 2, 2009 @ 22:50 (UTC)
There you go. But seriously, this morning when ShounenSuki brought this up I spent all of five minutes trying to come up with some big argument. Then I thought..."I'm old (not really) and hungry damnit I don't got time for this." Heh heh.--TheUltimate3 (talk) 01:07, September 3, 2009 (UTC)

I think we should add deceased and things like that because it makes it much more easier and faster than having to click on the person's page and then see if they are deceased or not..its much better and it is necessary--Moiz1224 (talk) 23:40, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
