Shikamaru gets the opponent caught with his Shadow Sewing Technique while Asuma extends the chakra on his Chakra Blades and slashes the opponent.

In the manga and anime, Shikamaru and Asuma perform a similar attack, with Asuma instead decapitating the opponent.
