"Fate" (因縁, Innen) is episode 140 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.
Synopsis
Tobi tells Sasuke about the fate of the Uchiha clan and about Itachi's life. He also tells Sasuke about his past and the Uchiha clan's rivalry with those of the Senju clan. He says that in reality, the Uchiha clan were not trusted and thus spied on by Konoha. Tobi tells him that the Third Hokage and the three council members from Konoha knew the truth about Itachi Uchiha. Sasuke learns that Itachi was a spy for Konoha, planted into the Uchiha clan, who were under supervision by the Anbu.
