Fū (フウ) was a kunoichi from Takigakure and the jinchūriki of the Seven-Tailed Horned Beetle. The Seven-Tails has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki, causing Fū's death when the beast was extracted.
Appearance
Fū wore a clip with her green hair and had pink eyes. Her ninja outfit consisted of a high white shirt, white armlets, and a fishnet waistband, her Takigakure forehead protector being worn on her arm like Shikamaru. Fū also carried a red cylindrical object on her back.
Trivia
- Fū can mean "seal" (封) or "method", "style", or "wind" (風). Fū is also the Japanese name for the Chinese sweetgum (楓, Liquidambar formosana).
- Fū is the only jinchūriki to not come from one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries.
- The author, Masashi Kishimoto, isn't completely sure yet about the gender of this jinchūriki. However, for the time being, Fū is a girl.
- Fū and Yugito Nii were the only female jinchūriki.
- In order to prevent the jinchūriki from turning traitor, it is tradition for the host to be selected from the family of the village's own Kage. While Takigakure does not have a recognized Kage, it is possible that Fu was given the Seven-Tailed Horned Beetle, because she is related to Shibuki or his Dad.
