Explosion Release (爆遁, Bakuton, Viz: Explosive Style) is a combined chakra nature transformation kekkei genkai. This chakra nature is stated to be made of the earth nature,[1] and hinted to be made of lightning nature[2][Notes 1] to give the wielder the ability to utilise explosive chakra in combat, allowing them to cause explosions in objects they come into contact with. The only known users of this nature were members of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps.
Trivia
- Deidara was reported to have this kekkei genkai.[3][4] Explosive clay is suggested to be related to it, despite it being referred to as being an earth-based technique.[1] It is likely that he utilises the kinjutsu he stole to knead his explosive chakra into the clay.
