Emi (エミ; Literally meaning "smile") is a young woman who goes to Shukuba Town to visit friends. Instead she falls prey to one of Itachi Uchiha's genjutsu. Itachi had her draw the attention of Jiraiya so that he could get to Naruto Uzumaki. Jiraiya, realizing that women did not usually show interest in him, freed her from the genjutsu and went to save Naruto.
