The Earth Release Team was a subdivision of the great First Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces. Lead by a Iwagakure shinobi, it consisted of skilled Earth Release users, seen when they used the Earth Release: Lithic Press technique simultaneously, strong enough to trap and finally overwhelm Kinkaku in his six-tailed form with the assist of Darui for a short time.

The team was wiped out during the Fourth Shinobi World War by Kinkaku while trying to defeat the pseudo-jinchūriki with their captain Darui together.
