Contrary to its [[Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique|counterpart]], this is technique that reduces the target's gravity, making it much lighter. The atmosphere, along with a human body can be lightened in order to take flight. With enough practice a person can control their flight through the sky with specific bodily movements.
Contrary to the [[Earth Release: Aggravated Rock Technique]], instead of making an object heavier, this technique makes an item in direct contact with the user much lighter. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move.

Contrary to its counterpart, this is technique that reduces the target's gravity, making it much lighter. It is often used to lighten objects that the user carries, but can also be applied to the user's body, increasing their agility. A consequence of using it this way, results in a decrease in the physical force of their blows.[2] By touching a target their gravity can be taken away, with the user regulating how much is taken. The atmosphere, along with a human body can be lightened in order to take flight. With enough practice a person can control their flight through the sky with specific bodily movements.

Trivia

  • The usage of this technique to fly is apparently well-known amongst the Tsuchikage, as Madara Uchiha immediately recognised its usage by Ōnoki.[3]
