As the main villain of the Naruto movie Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow, Doto is the boss of Nadare Roga, Mizore Fuyukuma, and Fubuki Kakuyoku. He started the revolt in the Land of Snow in search of a treasure which resulted in him killing his Daimyo brother Soutetsu Kazahana. His neice Koyuki Kazahana fled from the Land of Snow and became an actress named Yukie Fujikaze. The train he was on was responsible for killing off Sandayu Asama and the other rebel ninjas until it was taken out by Team Kakashi. Though he returns in his blimp where Nadare successfully snatches Koyuki. When Doto finds out that the necklace Koyuki is wearing turns out to be a fake, she suspects that Kakashi Hatake switched them while she was sleeping. Thus, Doto plans to set a trap at his castle. When Naruto Uzumaki raided the blimp to rescue Koyuki, Doto's followers easily took him and his Shadow Clones down. Doto is persuaded to use his Chakra Negator device on Naruto. When Kakashi, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha rescue them, they are confronted by Doto. Koyuki then gives the necklace to him before stabbing him. This failed as is wearing the "newest prototype" of Chakra Armor (which is black, as opposed to the grey versions that his subordinates wear) underneath his robe. When he does make off with Koyuki in the climax, her necklace turned out to be a generator that transformed the Land of Snow in to a Land of Spring. When Naruto caught up, Doto managed to damage Naruto enough for him to sink beneath the ice. Sasuke managed to damage the armor before being defeated. With the Nine-Tailed Fox Chakra recovering him, Naruto emerged with the Chakra Negator fractured. He was hit directly by Naruto's Rasengan, enhanced by the Rainbow Chakra, throwing him with great force onto one of the Generator Walls. Whether this was the death of him was not confirmed.

Doto Kazahana is only avalible in the Japanese version of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 because the movie with him in it was not realesed before the game. His stage is not in the English version either.
