Daichi (ダイチ) is an Academy student of Konohagakure.

Personality

Daichi cares about and wants to protect his friends.

Appearance

Daichi wore a grey shirt with a stripe running through the middle as well as on the cuffs along with a pair of dull purple pants and sandals. He also wore bandages around his legs and a headpiece that resembles headphones of sorts.

Part I

Chūnin Exams

He was a classmate of Konohamaru at the Academy. When the Third Hokage asked the class who they would protect, Daichi responds that he would protect his friends.

Follow My Lead! The Great Survival Challenge

During a survival exercise, Daichi was placed on a temporary team with fellow Academy students Nobori and Matsuri under the leadership of Hinata.

Konoha Plans Recapture Mission

Later, in the anime, after being thrown out of their class, because of the change that there are bombs located at the academy, he go to a kunai training area. Alongside Nobori and Kōji and some other kids, they threw kunai at a block of wood. Shortly after Rock Lee, Naruto Uzumaki and Chōji Akimichi interrupts them, believing that there are a bomb in the wood. They soon realise this is true.
