Cooking-Nin are ninja who specialize in cooking. They walk around in forests and paths outside villages, waiting for hungry ninjas to walk past. When they find a hungry ninja team, they make all kinds of good food for them, but as Hakaku makes such good food, they can't stop eating it, and become very fat. They only work in the Land of Thunder. Being so fat, the ninjas started to say: "Who needs Cooking-nins". Hakaku wanted Teuchi's "Demon" recipe but it turned out to only be the disposal of the bitter taste of the soup.
