An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, the Combination Transformation transforms two users into one being and also gains the physical abilities of the transformed entity. In some cases, when one user is preocupied or cannot use hand seals, one may perform the necessary hand seals, while the other may provide the chakra. Naruto used this method with Gamabunta in their fight against Gaara's full Shukaku form to assume the appearance of a giant fox (Kurama in the anime) to get a good grip on Shukaku with claws. The Sound Four used this during the Chūnin Exams to disguise themselves as the Fourth Kazekage's bodyguards (two in each). Kiba and Akamaru created their own variation of this technique with the Human Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf.

Trivia

  • If three users transform into one being, this technique renamed as a Mixture Transformation (混合変化, Kongō Henge).
