The mother of Chōji Akimichi and the wife of Chōza Akimichi. Like her son and husband, she appears to be rather big-boned. According to Shikamaru, she is a nice woman, who lets Chōji eat what he pleases. She appears in the anime after the death of Asuma to comfort Shikamaru.
