I come here not to make storms and usher my beliefs. I just noticed the wikia contradicts itself with various facts that should be looked into/changed.
- First (The most important): Contradictory with the databook information.
We have been contradicting with the information of the databook a lot for the past months, with members picking out information that they like and claiming them as notable, and siding away the information that they do not like. Example: One of the biggest things that bugs me is the inclusion of the Chakra Nature Box in the databook. As provided by a translator, Sensing Water Sphere and Dustless Bewildering Cover should be added as Water Release Techniques. Now, when people say that there is no confirmation that they are Water Release techniques simply because there is no "Water Release" in their name isn't proof enough that they aren't. (Rock Clone Technique, Mouse Hairball, etc.) Their usage and description is proof that they are. The only reason that, for example Dustless Bewildering Cover, is not listed as a Water Release Technique because the databook said that Mū cannot use Water Release, which, looking into characters like Hashirama Senju, who was not given Yin Release despite using Genjutsu and Chōji Akimichi wasn't given Earth Release but was clearly seen in the manga using it. We cannot just pick out that and leave the rest behind.
- Second: Contradictory with a few claims (1st Yamanaka Clan's Secret Techniques are Yin Release, 2nd Medical Ninjutsu are Yang Release).
These are the 2 that got my interest. If this information is in the respective nature pages, why is this information not allowed to be added? Either we a) remove this information from the nature pages, which, would be a mistake since, if it was added, that means it was mentioned somewhere at some time, or b) We add the respective natures to the techniques and done deal.
- Third: I don't know if this has been decided upon, but Tobi = Guruguru article change.
The databook clearly states that Guruguru is Tobi. Can the name and the article be changed? Again, I don't recall this being decided upon, just throwing it out here.
I know this was a lot to read and thank you to those who read this. I probably missed quite some things that you guys agree/disagree upon. So, how about we have a nice discussion, without any fights, and just solve these questions once and for all?
