I don't think a lot of people recognize that the time periods Minato and Tobirama grew up in play a huge part in their mindsets, which is just as important as speed and jutsu in a fight.
Minato had more of a cushioned childhood, from what we've seen. He was able to go to the Academy, we can assume he had a decent family and a good marriage. He didn't really see much conflict until the Third Shinobi World War. He wasn't necessarily brutal when it came to combat; he did what he had to do.
Tobirama, however, was born and raised in battle. We saw how strict his father was, and by his twenties he was able to kill a Mangekyo Sharingan user with little to no trouble. It's often been said that Hashirama, Tobirama, Madara and Izuna were the strongest of their day: we've seen what Hashirama and Madara could do, so we have a decent idea of what Tobirama would be able to do as well. He has more of a killer instinct, not being afraid to deceive or trick his opponent to get a win.
Minato wasn't really seen in action until a war broke out, and his Flying Raijin (which he already knew by then) was the only reason he became a hero. Tobirama was born in the most violent period known, having to fight as soon as he could hold a weapon, he still had time to invent a buttload full of jutsu and he outlived all four of his brothers...including the one that was known as the God of Shinobi.
What you've just said is meaningless. It doesn't matter what era a ninja comes from, it's about that ninjas skill and ability. So what if one has more experience or was in war longer? Pone of the main themes of the mangaa is that the next generation surpasses the previous. So that quote makes all what you've said mute.
Minato didn't have parents for a start, not sure how you can make up that he had a family, when he didn't. Many ninja didn't have parents or they died in battle early and forced their kids to grow as orphans.
Minato wasn't necessarily brutal? What does that even mean. Minato was a full fledged ninja who probably has the largest body count in the manga. Do you know how many he killed? He wiped out a platoon of 50 in an instant. He slashed an earth ninjas throat without even saying a word (after he almost killed his student). And he took out another 5 earth ninja at the end of Kakashi Gaiden. Do you know why people were told to flee when they saw him? It's because Minato was as brutal as they come. But you can be brutal and yet still be kind at the same time. You act like Minato wasn't in wars. He knows exactly what war is like, he fought in it and became the biggest and most feared name in that war. Did Tobirama have a reputation like that? No he didn't. Just think about how Tobirama died, and you will know he wasn't feared at all. The technique Tibirama created is the same technique that gave Minato his reputation, yet Tobirama didn't have that same kind of reputation, because his skill with the technique wasn't of the same level.
Just because someone has more experience that you doesnt mean you will be inferior to them or that they cannot be surpassed. Naruto became the strongest ninja of all time at age 17 and yet he has the least experience and wasn't in proper wars like Minato or Tobirama. So again your argument is meaningless.
Kakuzu as well was born in the same period as Hashirama and Tobirama. Yet the likes of Itachi have surpassed him. So pls tell me how upbringing is a reason for how stronger you are that someone else. It's about what techniques you've shown, how you use them and the skill and talent you have. Minato became a hero in the war because he saved weak konoha military forces and overturned their losing battles to victories for times too many to count.
Minato and Tobirama both fought in war. Both saw their comrades die, both invented techniques, both made a name for themselves. Only difference is Tobirama is older. Yet Minato rose above tobiramas reputation as the fastest ninja and even takes his jutsu and makes it his own, and improves it beyond what Tobirama could do.
What's most funny about your post is that you said Tobirama killed an MS user (who wasn't even using his Ms at the time). Yet fail to mention Minato also defeated a much stronger Ms user who even had the ninetails. Tobirama has been fighting Izuna since childhood, yet it took him probably like 10 years before he could finally kill izuna. Yet you think that's impressive? Minato faced Obito who is by far superior to Izuna in every way, yet it took Minato a couple minutes. Minato may not have killed him, but he did take away the possession of the nine tails from him. Can Tobirama do that? No I don't think so. Not like Minato had time to go after Obito and kill him anyway. at least when minato won, Obito was actually using his Mangekyou.
Don't try to use irrelevant rubbish to make a point. Stick to feats and hype and what a ninja has actually done. Otherwise it just makes you look like you're grasping at straws.
