The Rabbit-form was (probably) not created by Kaguya, especially not with Creation of All Things. She was known as the Rabbit goddess, so I think it's just a natural aspect of hers. Still, I find it odd that she is a giant plant, a giant rabbit, a human-like figure, and a ten-tailed monster all in one package.
Also, for fun, ridiculous plot twists: > Team 7 was under IT the whole time. Madara is still final villain. > Kaguya escaped Chibaku Tensei through Madara's ejected corpse. > Hagoromo is true villain. (surprisingly popular)

I'm pretty sure male Harunos would want to be flat.

In The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, Kaguya-hime was originally from the moon.
The "moon rabbit" is the Asian equivalent of the "man in the moon," and so through folklore the rabbit has also become associate with the moon.
The Ten Tails is inspired by Ippon Datara (a one-eyed, one-legged mountain spirit) and Deidarabotchi (a giant that shaped the landscape of Japan), two unrelated creatures from Japanese mythology and folklore.
The Divine Tree is likely inspired in part by the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, in which Kaguya-hime was found in a stalk of bamboo. Its appearance also resembles both a bamboo stalk and a lotus flower, the latter of which ties into the Buddhist mythology that's frequently referenced by all the Six Paths / Rinnegan stuff (and the Gedo Statue likewise resembles certain statues of the Buddha).
Yes, we have. We as the wiki hive mind have spent countless hours pondering that smile, and come to the conclusion that it means nothing until 691 drops.

Or being she made the beast a Rabbit because of that title.

Yeah, cause Mebuki ain't a Haruno by birth.

She didn't make it like that on purpose, Black Zetsu explicitly notes this.

That Rabbit is not the same as one that separate from the Gedo. It had the third eye.
Chibaku Tensei sealed her eyes, did you miss that?
