btw, Doesn't Naruto know that Boruto's limit is just 4 Shadow Clones
how didn't he notice earlier ?
EDIT : I am talking about his winning against Shikadai in the movie
I think Boruto's suspicious improvement with clones is what made naruto wonder if he was cheating in the first place. I mean he made a handful each time yet here he suddenly makes 20+
I think Naruto didn't 'suspect' it.He was impressed by Boruto's improvement. But he got suspicious with the thing that looked like the kote he saw before, in Boruto's hand.
It was the chunnin exams. And Sasuke was training him.Basically Ninja's improve drastically(especially prodigies like Boruto).Remember Sasuke's improvement?Improving your jutsus and chakra and such isn't gonna be that much of a suspicious act when the whole point of the battle and all was so they could train to improve lol.
And like I said.Naruto noticing the Kote was the only thing that gave it out.I think he's smart enough to know if it was too much clones(That would give out his act)But it seemed, it wasn't.
Anyways, about the episode.I don't think Oro's planning something evil. The anime obviously hints to that. But that's just to give it some thrill.Oro basically changed totally(Both by appearencs and personality)He doesn't even smile the evil creepy smile he does.It was an innocent happy smile he did with the mention suigetsu helping the kids. And thus foiling whatever plan he had.
