Is there a reason we call him Sage of the Six Paths? English isn't my first language as you all know, so I might be missing something, but his Japanese literally translates as "Six Paths' Sage", not "The Six Paths' Sage". What I mean is, the word "the" isn't there in the Japanese term, so where does it come from?
I'm asking this because it kinda implies that we actually know what those six paths actually are, which is something we don't.
