A user not using chat every single day isn't a valid reason for denying chat mod.
There is no maximum quota to chat mod rights. Giving chat mod to one user does not stop us from giving chat mod to another as some of the oppose rationales have tried to imply.
And even if one user doesn't use chat every day, adding more users that use chat occasionally still gives us more periods of time that a chat mod may be online.
The chat is mostly dead as it is. And when it's not, there's at least 1 chat mod there. Also, a user requesting rights when previously stating to not having a liking to socialization on the wiki is a little... hypocritical. Though people change, I guess.
Also, Dantman, all I see regarding support is "Cerez is this and that", which is not a valid reason for a promotion. That could be said about, literally, anyone who make themselves known in the wiki. And also, using Rachin and an example: (damn I miss him >.<) What good are rights when the user does not use them? I don't want to sound aggressive or monotonous, but I'll try to take notes of how many times do I actually see Cerez on chat, because why are such rights necessary for him if he is not to use them? There were more capable people, even those who only hang out in forums and do not edit mainspace, who were more fitting of such position, but I don't want to go there again.
And no, making even more chat mods is not a good solution to such problems. I know how you feel about demoting people, though, so I'm not here to try and tell you how to run the wiki.
@Cerez: It's not hate/aggression, it's "creative observation", please don't be offended, this is definitely not my objective, at all. I just hope that such threads in the forums are not leading up to your objective to "gather up more user rights", which you won't use, but are actually for the good of the wiki?
@QuakingStar: Well of course. That's why the best fitting candidates should be selected, those who actually use their free time in the chat.
