An application of Kagutsuchi through Susanoo whereby the eternal flames of Amaterasu are formed into weapons from the black orb held in the secondary right arm of Sasuke Uchiha's Susanoo. Of the weapons comprised of these flames is a sword, which was used to stab and incinerate White Zetsu,[1] slice through Kabuto's Spider Web Unrolling technique[2] and other large defences[3] with relative ease, leaving the black flames to consume what is left. Additionally, magatama-shaped projectiles that can be unleashed in volleys,[4] and large arrows that can be fired from its bow.[5]

Trivia

  • In Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, the sword version is named "Sword of Kagutsuchi" (加具土命の剣, Kagutsuchi no Tsurugi, literally meaning: Added Tool Earth-Lord Sword).
  • When portrayed in the anime, the Susanoo Kagusuchi blade — and the orb it holds — appears to be made of the same ethereal substance as the rest of Susanoo, and not Amaterasu as it appears in manga and game.[6] Instead, it changes into Amaterasu flames when using certain techniques.[7]
